Specifications:
Box heart – Box heart timbers are timbers that include the heart of the tree within the edges of the timber. Although box heart timbers can come in any dimension, it is more common in larger dimensions.
Free of heart center (FOHC) – Free of heart timbers are cut to exclude the heart of the tree. Checking occurs much less frequently in FOHC timbers, thereby making a more structurally sound timber than boxed heart timbers.
